In his conceptual photo series, Gal attacks the interlocking of the cultural with the military establishment. "Untitled (Erasing The Major Museums)" show aerial shots of Israeli cities, in which the locations of the major museums are erased as though through military censorship. His argument is that Israel's self-representation as a nation of culture is hypocritical, as long as human rights are abused.
