The starting point for the work is the book "Skateboarding, Space and the City" by Iain Borden.
This is the first detailed investigation of the urban phenomenon of skating. Street skating is described here as an executed criticism of architecture, city and capitalism.

For the exhibition, parts of the book are translated from English into German. The presentation takes place on a "Picnic Table", a sculpture taken from public space, which is frequently used by skaters.
