What do Venice,
Istanbul, Lyon, Thessaloniki, Mechelen in Belgium, Havanna, Jerusalem
and Sharjah in the United Emirates have in common? In 2009 they all had
an important exhibition of contemporary art, a so-called "biennial".
An exciting selection from these exhibitions has been compiled for Linz,
a "Biennale Cuvée". 33 artists from 18 countries come
to visit. The exhibition brings the international art scene to Linz, shows
current trends and is a barometer of what is understood internationally
today as contemporary art.
Exhibition locations of the "Biennale Cuvée" are the OK "Offenes
Kulturhaus" and the Power Tower of the company Energie AG.

Top winemakers from Austria, France and Italy offer their delicious white and red wines.
The celebrated white wine year 2009 is showcased for the first time with the Wachau and the Kamp Valley.
